A practising artist for over 20 years, Cheryl started her journey in the arts as a potter, then moved into the television industry as a camera assistant, operator and floor manager.

She eventually found her way back to visual arts when she completed her Bachelor of Arts in the 90’s then her Masters a few years later.

Cheryl has exhibited and worked all over Australia and the UK. Her work is hanging in collections in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Starting out in live television as a camera operator nearly 30 years ago, he has worked in Australia and the UK for numerous broadcasters and production houses, from the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery and even a stint in a windowless cubicle editing for the Sky News political bureau in Westminster. Also a graphic designer and visual artist, writing and directing narrative projects, Perry now lives and works in Port Douglas Australia, concentrating on his visual arts practice.
